Launching in 1993, Hellboy comics has developed an enormous cult following that has seen it spawn various films, video games and more.
The story follows the life of Hellboy, a well-meaningĀ demon who was summoned fromĀ HellĀ toĀ EarthĀ as a "baby" demon byĀ Nazi occultistsĀ (spawning his hatred forĀ Nazis). He was discovered by theĀ Allied Forces; amongst them, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, who formed the United StatesĀ Bureau for Paranormal Research and DefenseĀ (BPRD). Although a bit gruff, Hellboy shows none of the malevolence thought to be intrinsic toĀ demons, and has an ironic sense of humour. This is said to be because of his upbringing under Professor Bruttenholm, who raised him as a normal boy.
This Pop! features Nimue, The Queen of Blood, the greatest of all British witches. She comes complete holding a skull and wearing her iconic crown.
